The book is a story of young love, the story of the things we assume is right for us when we’re not a child anymore and not yet an adult, a story of trials and errors we get to make when we’re young. This book reminded me the feeling of high school giddiness, this book will remind you how you used to make a big deal out of high school drama, how we once thought of ending up with someone we thought we wanted all along only to be woken up that there is so much more in life that the silly things we think too much about.

I love how the story slowly unfolds, keeping the air of mystery. I had to stop because my face hurts from smiling too much. The characters played their part so well, although there was this one character, Veronica whom the author forgot to elaborate and didn’t payed attention to. I believe she could’ve played a better role in the story, it made me think what’s the point of mentioning and creating her in the first place. Also, I would’ve understand if the book has to end things hanging between her and Liz, but the author just never mentioned her again. The sequence of events were great, I like how it was all placed purposely and how it ended with closure. I even shed a tear (or two) with Skip and Lyla’s part.
