hey there!

Glad you found this ever so dramatic page of mine. I’ve been trying and trying and trying to start a blog for a long time. I write stuff from time to time, but nothing really serious, my writings are more personal. It’s like a novella version my reality.

I am a Filipina, an only child of parents who ended their forever a long time ago. I spent 3 years in taking up BS-Occupational Therapy but life happened. Now, I am taking up BS-Psychology in another university. So, romantic life? you don’t wanna know. Oh but you will my friend, because I wrote it all. Okay then let’s skip that here. Next on the list: girlfriends! I have four closest friends whom I met in med school and one of them is my very best friend who’s also so so crazy about books (and I mean in a Will Herondale-James Carstairs level).

As you notice, I am very fond of human behavior (and human anatomy haha *this is a joke*), I love talking to people and listening to them. The Books help me get to live a thousand lives through these pages. Other than books, I also love coffee and milkteas. I love a lot of little things like hair bows, laces and pearls. I love history and watching movies, including the classics, just recently I engaged watching documentaries. I am a very unhealthy eater, but fortunately I am not (yet) obese so let’s leave it that way.

So, a little overview about my blog:

This blog will feature personal bookphotography (which isn’t that great to be honest), and also my personal writings. I also have a page here that includes my photos of the book signing events held in the Philippines that I personally attended! yeyy!

Before I forget, I’d like to thank you for dropping by and even if you choose to skip this part of my blog (which I totally understand), if you appreciate my photos and other posts, thank you still and leave a comment!

cheers to more time and books to read!!!

Hi there Lovelene! What a coincidence, I’m also a Filipina and I graduated with a degree in OT, but I also have an unrequited love with psychology! My name is Joan btw, it’s nice to meet you 🙂

do you mean my preferred genre? I don’t really have a particular favorite genre. The genre I pick up depends on my mood, sometimes I prefer just contemporary, sometimes fantasy, and there are times when I read more than one at the same time.

Hi Lovelene, I saw your into at the Classics Club. I was intrigued by your love of Sherlock. I’ve been reading classics for quite a while, but somehow, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle escaped me until very recently. Don’t be jealous, but I found a really amazing book find at a library sale (all about it in the link below). Welcome to the Classics Club. http://100greatestnovelsofalltimequest.blogspot.com/2017/02/complete-sherlock-holmes-nova-this-week.html
